Seneca FFA Claims Nine State Degrees
Both is Star in Agribusiness

Nine members of the Seneca FFA Chapter survived the application and interview process and have the honor of being named to the level of State FFA Degree, the highest rank possible in the state association. The award is based on a quality Supervised Agriculture Experience Program, outstanding participation in the FFA organization, a qualifying GPA, and excellent record keeping and knowledge of their project work. Members assemble three years of SAE records, complete an application and then display their knowledge in front of a panel of judges.
This years recipients were Tim Harty, Jessica Both, Erica Weinreich, Dan Worley, Sydney and Haley Condon, Kayla Johnson, Aaron Scmekar, and Alyssa Carey.
Jessica Both was named the Star in Agribusiness for Section 7 based on her business, I Care Pet Service. Section 7 consists of twelve school in north central Illinois. The young entrepreneur established her pet sitting, grooming and training business four years ago and has developed a substantial client base. Jessica now moves on the the district competition in March.
